The barrier islands

Single-panel re-screening
One torn or sagging panel replaced with fresh, tensioned screen and new spline, so it looks tight and new again without re-screening the whole enclosure.
Full pool-cage re-screening
When an older cage is failing panel by panel, we re-screen the entire structure, replace worn spline and corroded fasteners, and hand it back looking sharp.
Screen door repair and rebuild

What the Suncoast climate does to your enclosure
Screen enclosures here work hard all year, and the calendar shapes the repairs we do. Through the long, high-UV summer, months of intense sun make screen brittle and weaken the spline that holds it, so a panel that looked fine in spring can tear at the lightest bump by August. Summer also brings daily thunderstorms and, from June through November, hurricane season - the wind-driven rain and flying debris that pop panels out of their channel or blow a whole side loose. Along the coast, salt air is a year-round problem, quietly corroding screws and fasteners until a joint that once felt solid works loose and stains the frame.
The practical takeaway is the same everywhere we work: catch problems while they are small. A single torn panel re-screened now is a quick, inexpensive fix; the same tear left through a stormy summer spreads, lets pests and water into your lanai, and can grow into a full-side re-screen. Between repairs, a little care goes a long way in this climate. Rinsing salt and grime off the screen and frame a few times a year slows corrosion, especially near the coast; keeping the door track clear of sand and leaves helps rollers last; and trimming back the palm fronds and oak branches that hang over a cage prevents a lot of the tears we get called out for after a windy night. None of that replaces a real repair when a panel goes, but it does stretch the years between them. Do you really cover the whole county?
Yes. We serve Manatee and Sarasota County from the barrier islands to the inland neighborhoods, and south into North Port and Englewood. If your town is not listed and you are nearby, just ask - the answer is almost always yes.
Do you charge extra to come out to the islands?
We give you one honest price for the work. Island jobs sometimes take a little longer to schedule around access and bridge traffic, but we will always be upfront about timing when we set your appointment.
How quickly can you reach my town?
For most of the county we can usually get to you within the week, and often sooner for small repairs. After a major storm, demand jumps everywhere, so we will give you a realistic timeline rather than a promise we cannot keep.
Do coastal enclosures really need different materials?
They benefit from them. Near the water we favor corrosion-resistant fasteners and quality screen that stands up to salt, because standard hardware simply does not last as long in that environment. We match the materials to your location during the screen check.
Can you match the look of my existing enclosure?
In almost every case, yes. We carry the common screen colors and frame hardware used across Manatee and Sarasota County, so a repaired panel blends in with the rest of your cage rather than standing out. If your enclosure uses something unusual, we will tell you your options during the visit.
Do you work on lanais and porches, not just pool cages?
We do. Screened lanais, porches, entryways, and patio enclosures all use the same screen, spline, and hardware as a pool cage, and they wear out the same ways. If it has screen panels, we can repair it.
Is it worth repairing an older enclosure at all?
Usually, yes. The aluminum frame of most enclosures long outlives the screen and hardware, so re-screening and re-fastening an older cage is far cheaper than replacing the whole structure. If the framing itself is compromised, we will be straight with you about it.
